Strengthening Organic Roots for a Competitive and Sustainable 2050
European Organic Congress 2025 (#EOC2025), co-organised by IFOAM Organics Europe and the Polish Chamber of Organic Food (PIZE), with the support of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture under the Polish Presidency of the EU Council, brought together the European organic community in Warsaw from 25 to 27 June 2025. Set against the historic backdrop of the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage, the Congress welcomed over 200 participants from across Europe and beyond to engage in vibrant discussions on the future of organic food and farming.
The Congress featured a wide range of sessions fostering active participation and leading to insightful and productive exchanges among stakeholders. Topics included the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), new genomic techniques (NGTs), pesticide reduction, generational renewal, the EU organic regulation, market trends, and more.
