With the start of the year the Commission concluded the legislative work on driving organic imports under compliance and therefore reached to an important phase of full implementation of the EU Organic Regulation. Early this year the Commission announced a simplification package targeting also organic farming and the organic regulation. In this panel we aim to explore the current evolution of the regulatory framework and what the Commission can offer for the organic sector to alleviate burden exposed by the complexity of legislation together with representatives of the sector how they engage in this improvement.
