Agricultural engineer and master on international trade, Luis worked in the Spanish dairy and agri-food promotion sectors before joining the European Commission where he was responsible for several market sectors (olive oil, cereals, sugar) before becoming Head of the Units “Animal products” and then “The Americas”. He was very recently appointed Head of the Unit “Organics”
