Joanna Wierzbicka holds the position of Deputy Director at IFOAM Organics Europe, which serves as the European federation representing the complete organic food supply chain. With a strong dedication to the organic industry for over past eight years, her primary focus has been cultivating meaningful projects and relationships with businesses and organizations within the agri-food sector. Growing up in the picturesque ‘The Green Lungs of Poland,’ a region renowned for its early adoption of sustainable development practices since the 1980s, instilled in her a passion for organic farming. She firmly believes that organic food and farming serve a powerful avenue to protect the well-being people and the Earth.
