Gerda Jónász is a researcher of the Agricultural Policy Research Group at the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (ÖMKi). She acquired her Master’s Degree at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University (Sweden), and at Central European University (Hungary) under the Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management program (MESPOM). She earned her Doctoral Degree at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at Central European University and started her collaboration with ÖMKi through a postdoctoral fellowship early in 2013. Ever since, she has been conducting research and developing background documents for a diverse range of national and international projects. She has extensive knowledge on alternative supply chains, organic certification, and organic living labs.
