On 10-12 September, the European Organic Congress 2024 took place in Budapest, Hungary, within the framework of the official programme of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Organised by IFOAM Organics Europe in collaboration with ÖMKi, the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture, and the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, this year’s EOC, set to take place closely after the elections of the European Parliament, turned to be timely, politically relevant and a must to attend for stakeholders along the organic supply chain.
